At Atlanta Property Inspections, we feel strongly that each client should be treated with respect, courtesy and integrity. In addition to providing a reliable and accurate inspection report, we believe that we have an ethical obligation to you, our client. This obligation includes integrity, competency, honesty, objectivity, and an interest in your safety.
As a customer of Atlanta Property Inspections, you gain certain rights when using our services. We believe that by insuring our customer's rights are respected, we will remain in business for many years. The keystone of professional conduct is integrity. In addition to following the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics of ASHI, we are committed to providing our customers with fairness and impartiality before, during and after the inspection. We will uphold the honor and dignity of our profession and avoid association with any enterprise of questionable character, or any apparent conflict of interest.
In recognition of these obligations, we hereby promote these rights for our clients:
1. The right to be assured that our inspector is objective in our reporting and will not knowingly understate or overstate the significance of reported conditions.
We take great care to be objective and impartial and will provide our customers with reliable, accurate and useful information.
2. The right to be assured that the inspector's opinion is based on genuine conviction within the scope of his or her education and experience.
We only offer educated opinions based on 16 years of valuable home inspection experience and industry specific training and education; we do not offer opinions based on conjecture or suppositions.
3. The right to be assured that the inspector will stay current with the industry's body of knowledge through continuing education.
Because we belong to multiple professional organizations within our profession, we are committed to staying up to date on home building practices, building code changes and product defect issues.
4. The Right to Speak with a Real Human Being when you call us:
When you call Atlanta Property Inspections, you speak to a real, caring human being - not an answering machine or an answering service. When you call, you will speak to our professional and courteous scheduling staff who are trained to answer your questions, schedule your appointment, and email you additional information about your home inspection.
5. The Right to a Scheduled Appointment Convenient to You:
We schedule appointments 6 days a week and can help you in the morning, early afternnon or late afternoon for your convenience. We also offer online scheduling, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
6. The Right to a Thorough and Professional Home Inspection:
We approach every home inspection as if the inspection was for a member of our own family. The inspection is detailed and comprehensive with a thorough and easy to read Home Inspection Report. Our experienced certified home inspectors have the credentials to give our clients a wealth of information about their home, providing peace of mind that their home has been inspected thoroughly by a professional.
7. The Right to Feel Confident that we can Take Care of all Your Inspection Service Needs:
From the initial phone call, Atlanta Property Inspections will take care of all of your inspection service needs. In addition to your home inspection, we can provide additional services such as Radon Testing, Mold Sampling and Pre-Drywall Inspections. 8. The Right to an Inspection Process Free of Conflict of Interest Issues:
We never accept, nor will we ever request, commissions, incentives or allowances, directly or indirectly, from other parties dealing with their client in connection with work for which we provide our customers. We will not allow an interest in any business to affect the quality of the results of our inspection services. We pledge to have no financial interest in the real estate transaction that we are involved with.
