The inspector Frank came to our house to inspect the deck and provide a list of safety problems. While he was there we asked him to take a look at some termite damage in the attic.  When he went to the attic he spotted problems with a squirrel infestation requiring immediate action to correct for chewed wiring and unsanitary conditions.  We were unaware of this problem.  Frank provided a comprehensive inspection report in PDF format including multiple photos showing deck post deterioration, sagging joists and yes even a picture of the live squirrel in the attic. Frank is totally professional, knows his area of expertise very well and offers sound recommendations on how to correct problems without spending money for unnecessary improvements.  For example he told us the ledger board was in good shape and did not have to be replaced, only secured to the house wall with additional bolts. The small amount we paid for the inspection was well spent because the inspection will end up saving us money in the long run.

I would like to recommend Brandon for his excellent job during the inspection. He is very professional, thorough and is an expert in his field. I enjoyed his partnership during inspection, the knowledge he shared of the risks of certain issues was incredible. I am very glad that he inspected the house for us and wishing him more success in future.

I called several companies for quotes, and I felt that Atlanta Property Inspections was the most welcoming!  Thereafter, I had a wonderful experience at the inspection. My inspector was thorough, kind, and willing to explain things and answer my questions on site.  He was very knowledgeable and very friendly.  I am glad I did not skip the inspection for this 950 square foot condo, and the review has been very helpful, during my due diligence period in evaluating this potential home.

Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. was referred to us by our realtor for our home inspection. Our inspector was Cary Cooper. He really took the time to answer all of our questions about his findings. We didn't feel rushed or that any question was too silly. He gave us peace of mind with a few of our concerns and was honest, even if we weren't to thrilled with the news. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely use (and refer)  Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. in the future for any inspection needs.

Jeremy was the best to work with! He was on time,  very thorough in his explanations of his findings, and took time with my clients to make sure he answered all of their questions. He was detailed, and provided follow up when we needed additional questions answered. He went above and beyond! Best, quality, customer service I’ve seen in a long time! I’ll recommend him and Atlanta Property Inspections every time!

Atlanta property inspections gave me a very competitor quote and stuck to it for final pricing. They were able to get someone out to do the inspection so quickly. Frank and James were very thorough and helpful during the process they encouraged me to look at what they found, the good and bad, so I knew exactly what I am buying.  I couldn't have asked for a better inspection experience!

How to Start a Home Inspection Business

Building a business requires dedication and courage. You might need the right advice and an experienced team especially if you are opening your business about home inspection. Throughout this article, we will talk about the necessary things you need to start your property inspection business. Thankfully, Atlanta Property Inspection is here to provide the experience that it had been gaining for years.

Successful Business Plan

Every successful business needs an established and high-growth potential plan. With modern technology, researching certain steps for your achievement has been really easy. This phase of a business requires the most research and courage. Here are a few things that you should focus on in your research: competitors, existing market, initial cost, and potential growth costs. Take extra time to research these things, for, with strong information about these, you will have a strong foundation for your business.

Allow Your Customer to Trust You

The second most important phase is to get your formal training and certification. Customers value experience and education. Most likely, your customers will come from the recommendations for real estate agents. Without such certifications and training, these people will not recommend your services to their consumers. Also, every state requires the home inspectors to meet some kind of requirement. In your research, you should also read, in detail, the laws and other requirements set by the state or federal government for home inspection businesses. This phase focuses mainly on dedication. Thankfully, Atlanta Property Inspection provides home inspection training online. This online learning will help you with industry practices, techniques, and tools.

Make a Difference

Marketing is one of the most crucial parts of a business. What differentiates one brand from the other is its marketing strategies. To make a business look professional, you need a professional logo, a formal and catchy name, and a slogan. With extra attention to detail on your websites like your logo and slogan, customers will feel happier and safer.

Have a Safe Backup

To have a reliable business, you need an insurance policy. This insurance will protect you from investment lawsuits. If you don’t have this and after you inspect the home of a customer, if the customer discovers something wrong after your inspection, they can sue you for a lot of money. Well, we wouldn’t want that. So, get a professional lawyer to look out for these procedures and assist you on anything that is related to law.
