Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. was referred to us by our realtor for our home inspection. Our inspector was Cary Cooper. He really took the time to answer all of our questions about his findings. We didn't feel rushed or that any question was too silly. He gave us peace of mind with a few of our concerns and was honest, even if we weren't to thrilled with the news. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely use (and refer)  Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. in the future for any inspection needs.

The inspector was really thorough and was patient in explaining to me what he was observing. He showed me where the shutoff valve was for the water and gave recommendations on various things. The report that was provided made sense and pictures were taken of some things that were found. The inspector was also very personable which put me at ease about asking questions. Thank you, Alex and Atlanta Property Inspections!

I would like to recommend Brandon for his excellent job during the inspection. He is very professional, thorough and is an expert in his field. I enjoyed his partnership during inspection, the knowledge he shared of the risks of certain issues was incredible. I am very glad that he inspected the house for us and wishing him more success in future.

Frank Cooper and his team from Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc were excellent! They arrived on time  and thoroughly inspected all areas of the property I was considering renting. They found things that needed to be repaired by the landlord before we signed the lease. Frank reviewed his findings with us. He explained all of his concerns, and he patiently answered all of our questions. Then the next day I received a very detailed report that included several pictures and detailed explanations. If you want a kind, knowledgeable, and thorough inspector, don’t hesitate to call Frank Cooper with Atlanta Property. I would highly recommend him! Truly a 5 star company!

Atlanta property inspections gave me a very competitor quote and stuck to it for final pricing. They were able to get someone out to do the inspection so quickly. Frank and James were very thorough and helpful during the process they encouraged me to look at what they found, the good and bad, so I knew exactly what I am buying.  I couldn't have asked for a better inspection experience!

WOW! I can't even make this story up. In this very crazy market (June 2021) it seemingly takes 2 week closing (sometimes with *0* days due diligence!) to purchase a home. Anyway, Frank came recommended by another very reputable inspector, and I was fortunate he came!! The home we were looking at for my mother was a 1975 build and within 1 hour of the inspector being there a FIRE from an electrical panel broke out! Frank contained the fire, and was SO calm, had his team address the matter, was in touch with the agent and homeowner. He said in over 20+ years of him inspecting homes nothing like this had ever happened. Anyway the inspection was VERY thorough and Frank handled all matters very professionally. We will be working with Frank and his team on any home inspections in the future. I highly recommend!

Jeremy was the best to work with! He was on time,  very thorough in his explanations of his findings, and took time with my clients to make sure he answered all of their questions. He was detailed, and provided follow up when we needed additional questions answered. He went above and beyond! Best, quality, customer service I’ve seen in a long time! I’ll recommend him and Atlanta Property Inspections every time!

This was our first experience with Atlanta Property Inspections, Frank Cooper was the lead inspector and he was inspecting a new construction one bedroom plus den in Alpharetta for a buyer client of ours. The inspection report was both detailed and comprehensive. We have tried out a few premium home inspection companies over the past year, looking for a good additional inspection resource, and based on our experience with Frank Cooper, I think we have found it.

I called several companies for quotes, and I felt that Atlanta Property Inspections was the most welcoming!  Thereafter, I had a wonderful experience at the inspection. My inspector was thorough, kind, and willing to explain things and answer my questions on site.  He was very knowledgeable and very friendly.  I am glad I did not skip the inspection for this 950 square foot condo, and the review has been very helpful, during my due diligence period in evaluating this potential home.

Should You Attend Your Home Inspection? Here Are the Pros and Cons

Buying a new property is undoubtedly one of the biggest decisions a person can make in their lives. It’s not comparable to any other life event, and while the process itself can be very exciting, it also comes with lots of responsibilities and considerations. As a future homeowner, you have to make sure that the house you’re considering fits into the criteria you have for your ideal future home, at least for the most part. This particular concern can only be overcome by a professional home inspection in Atlanta, GA. Buyers frequently wonder if they should go to the house inspection in person. Attending is optional, although it can provide insightful information. By being aware of the advantages and disadvantages, you can decide whether to go to the inspection or not. Let’s discover some of them.

Understanding The Way The House Operates

You have the chance to learn about the systems of your future home by attending the home inspection. Inspections tend to include all parts of the house, from plumbing to electricity to the basement. To the untrained eye, the house’s condition can only be predicted from what you can see. On the other hand, systems behind the walls are observed and assessed by the inspector, and in real time you can observe what they’re taking into consideration and get a better understanding of the important parts.

Determine Key Problems on-Site

If during the process, a significant problem is discovered, the inspector can let you know about that problem in real time, and they can explain the severity of the issue as it might influence your decision on buying the property. This way, you don’t have to wait for the report, in which you may not even clearly understand what the inspector is referring to. This makes the entire process much easier for you.

Cons

As for the cons of the inspection, it’s important to mention that home inspectors are trained in a way to spot and take notes of any possible problem, no matter how minor they are. As professionals, they will know if the issue is important or not, but a new future homebuyer may not understand if all the findings are important and have a hard time. As a result, they may believe that there are too many problems with the house and even opt to dismiss the house, which is a false approach. The second issue is that even though many home inspectors are completely fine with answering any questions you may have during the process, if there are too many of those anxious questions, inspectors may not do their job effectively.

Your Biggest Investment

In conclusion, attending at least the important parts of your home inspection is usually advantageous for you, as it enables you to ask questions you may have and obtain the perspective of a professional that inspects hundreds of homes. Through working with a reputable home inspection company like Atlanta Property Inspections, you can have peace of mind knowing that you’re in the good hands of professionals that will provide you with the most accurate report even if you decide not to show up. You can always contact us for any questions or concerns you may have regarding the process.
