Dustin was very knowledgeable and friendly and made my client feel confident in his explanations.  He was quick to point out the positives of the home he was inspecting.  His report was delivered within 18 hours of the inspection and had plenty of photos and very easy explanations in laymen's terms. I highly recommend Atlanta Property Inspections.

Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. was referred to us by our realtor for our home inspection. Our inspector was Cary Cooper. He really took the time to answer all of our questions about his findings. We didn't feel rushed or that any question was too silly. He gave us peace of mind with a few of our concerns and was honest, even if we weren't to thrilled with the news. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely use (and refer)  Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. in the future for any inspection needs.

My client used the company for their home inspection during their due diligence period. Jeremy and his partner were very kind and accommodating with answering questions. The report was very thorough and I like that they also note positive things about the homes in their report as well and not just what's wrong with the house. You can read the good and the bad.

The inspector was really thorough and was patient in explaining to me what he was observing. He showed me where the shutoff valve was for the water and gave recommendations on various things. The report that was provided made sense and pictures were taken of some things that were found. The inspector was also very personable which put me at ease about asking questions. Thank you, Alex and Atlanta Property Inspections!

I called several companies for quotes, and I felt that Atlanta Property Inspections was the most welcoming!  Thereafter, I had a wonderful experience at the inspection. My inspector was thorough, kind, and willing to explain things and answer my questions on site.  He was very knowledgeable and very friendly.  I am glad I did not skip the inspection for this 950 square foot condo, and the review has been very helpful, during my due diligence period in evaluating this potential home.

Have used Atlanta Property Inspections several times for my buyers.  Their team is always very thorough and educational for the new home owners.  Much information is shared about past/current codes, potential issues and how to have the issues repaired.  I will continue to use Atlanta Property Inspectors for future inspections, and my clients have been very happy with their services as well!

I would like to recommend Brandon for his excellent job during the inspection. He is very professional, thorough and is an expert in his field. I enjoyed his partnership during inspection, the knowledge he shared of the risks of certain issues was incredible. I am very glad that he inspected the house for us and wishing him more success in future.

This was our first experience with Atlanta Property Inspections, Frank Cooper was the lead inspector and he was inspecting a new construction one bedroom plus den in Alpharetta for a buyer client of ours. The inspection report was both detailed and comprehensive. We have tried out a few premium home inspection companies over the past year, looking for a good additional inspection resource, and based on our experience with Frank Cooper, I think we have found it.

Things to Look for When Touring a Home

Looking to buy or rent your dream house can be stressful. Once you have paid the money, there is no turning back or not liking the option. Many house owners or real estate agents usually try to sell you a house that is more than its actual worth. Since most people don’t know the tricks, they tend to go with the current price offered. Thankfully, Atlanta Property Inspection is here to provide you with some great tips about what to be careful of, and list other services that will be useful to you.

There Is More To A House Than What’s Visible

Most people tend to just look at the location, size, and the brightness of a house. However, some parts are way more important than those factors. Throughout this article, we will be going over some things to consider while trying to find your dream home.

Don’t Risk It, Ask About It!

Firstly, ask the owner or the real estate agent the roof's age. This is one of the most crucial parts in a property inspection. Different houses have different roofs and different roofs have different life expectancies. If no information could be obtained, contact your local building department. If a roof is old, in the long term, it may cause great problems to you and permanent damage to the infrastructure of the house. Secondly, you should ask about the plumbing. Most houses that were built before the 1990s have problematic plumbing like galvanized steel and aging copper. This leak may also cause difficult problems to the buyer in the long term if not noticed.

Potential Risk to Your Health

Another important part to consider is the electrical panel. Again, if you look at homes built before the 1990s, certain brands of electrical panels like Federal Pacific, Zinsco, Sylvania, and Challenger may cause severe damage or risk to your health. Overall, if an electrical panel is old and certain parts combine, it can cause your house to be on fire. Lastly, the water heater system. Finding the age can be easy because most likely there is a sticker on it stating the age. Most of them have a life-expectancy of 10-20 years. If older than this, it can be harmful to your health.
