Atlanta Property Inspections came to do a pre-purchasing inspection on a home my husband and  I plan to buy! We had a very short due diligence period, but that was no issue for these guys. They fit us in their schedule on very short notice and were such a pleasure to work with. Cary and Riley came to do the inspection and did a fantastic job walking us through the inspection to let us know what they found, and suggestions on how to fix all of the issues! Shout out to Cary, for answering all of our questions and having such a great personality! We truly appreciate you guys taking the time to help us through such a very stressful time. We HIGHLY recommend this company!

Have used Atlanta Property Inspections several times for my buyers.  Their team is always very thorough and educational for the new home owners.  Much information is shared about past/current codes, potential issues and how to have the issues repaired.  I will continue to use Atlanta Property Inspectors for future inspections, and my clients have been very happy with their services as well!

Frank Cooper and his team from Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc were excellent! They arrived on time  and thoroughly inspected all areas of the property I was considering renting. They found things that needed to be repaired by the landlord before we signed the lease. Frank reviewed his findings with us. He explained all of his concerns, and he patiently answered all of our questions. Then the next day I received a very detailed report that included several pictures and detailed explanations. If you want a kind, knowledgeable, and thorough inspector, don’t hesitate to call Frank Cooper with Atlanta Property. I would highly recommend him! Truly a 5 star company!

We are relocating from out of state and we were in need of an inspection with a very tight turn around. We received incredibly thorough reporting and an availability to answer questions quickly. Cary Cooper’s professional and expert insight saved us from a potential health hazard. I would very much recommend Atlanta Property Inspection for any of your inspection needs!

WOW! I can't even make this story up. In this very crazy market (June 2021) it seemingly takes 2 week closing (sometimes with *0* days due diligence!) to purchase a home. Anyway, Frank came recommended by another very reputable inspector, and I was fortunate he came!! The home we were looking at for my mother was a 1975 build and within 1 hour of the inspector being there a FIRE from an electrical panel broke out! Frank contained the fire, and was SO calm, had his team address the matter, was in touch with the agent and homeowner. He said in over 20+ years of him inspecting homes nothing like this had ever happened. Anyway the inspection was VERY thorough and Frank handled all matters very professionally. We will be working with Frank and his team on any home inspections in the future. I highly recommend!

Jeremy was the best to work with! He was on time,  very thorough in his explanations of his findings, and took time with my clients to make sure he answered all of their questions. He was detailed, and provided follow up when we needed additional questions answered. He went above and beyond! Best, quality, customer service I’ve seen in a long time! I’ll recommend him and Atlanta Property Inspections every time!

What to Expect from a Termite Inspection

Termite damage is estimated to affect more than half a million homes in the United States alone. While this issue may be a common one to have, it can create a lot of trouble for homeowners and real estate investors since the tiny insects can destroy the value of a property very quickly. Are you concerned that your property may have a termite infestation? Identifying termites isn't always an easy task since these crafty bugs are often found in areas that are out of sight. The professionals at Atlanta Property Inspections are ready to help. Our specialists are excited to offer premium termite inspection services for local home and business owners in Atlanta, Georgia, and surrounding metro area communities. Have you decided to hire professional termite inspectors but aren't sure what the process is? Here is some more information on the importance of termite control and what you can expect during your professional termite inspection appointment.

Why Is Termite Control Important for Property Owners?

Termites can do a lot of damage to wood framing, which can eventually create a major risk to the overall structure of a property. Once an infestation occurs, the colony's population can increase rapidly, causing severe damage in as little as six months. For this reason, it's essential that owners take charge with inspections, preventative techniques, and termite control if a colony is present inside a home or commercial building.

Preparing for Your Inspection

Are you unsure where to start when it comes to preparing for your appointment? Here is a shortlist of steps you can take to ensure the process runs smoothly:

  • Rearrange Items That May Be in the Way - Termites often create their colonies around sources of water, which means that the inspector will check areas of the home where water is frequently used, such as your kitchen sink, bathrooms, and utility closet. If you have items that are in front of cabinets, or boxes stacked in the garage near the water heater unit, you can move these out of the way to ensure faster service.
  • Make a Clear Path to Your Attic - The attic is another area where termites will often congregate. If you have storage that is blocking access to your attic, then it is a good idea to temporarily move the items until your inspection is over.
  • Clear Out the Crawl Space - If your property is on a raised foundation, then our inspectors may need to check the crawl space. There's a chance you may have flower beds, patio furniture, grills, or other outdoor pieces that can make it difficult to access the crawl space quickly. Be sure to move these items away from the foundation while the inspection is taking place.

What to Expect from Your Termite Inspection

If this is your first time having a termite inspection, it can be helpful to know what to expect. The appointment itself will usually last from one to two hours, depending on the size of your property. During that time, the termite inspectors will check both the interior and exterior to look for signs of a termite infestation. They will check your windows, crawl space, garage, attic, cabinets, closets, and other areas where termites are likely to gather.
