This was our first experience with Atlanta Property Inspections, Frank Cooper was the lead inspector and he was inspecting a new construction one bedroom plus den in Alpharetta for a buyer client of ours. The inspection report was both detailed and comprehensive. We have tried out a few premium home inspection companies over the past year, looking for a good additional inspection resource, and based on our experience with Frank Cooper, I think we have found it.

Dustin was very knowledgeable and friendly and made my client feel confident in his explanations.  He was quick to point out the positives of the home he was inspecting.  His report was delivered within 18 hours of the inspection and had plenty of photos and very easy explanations in laymen's terms. I highly recommend Atlanta Property Inspections.

I called several companies for quotes, and I felt that Atlanta Property Inspections was the most welcoming!  Thereafter, I had a wonderful experience at the inspection. My inspector was thorough, kind, and willing to explain things and answer my questions on site.  He was very knowledgeable and very friendly.  I am glad I did not skip the inspection for this 950 square foot condo, and the review has been very helpful, during my due diligence period in evaluating this potential home.

Atlanta property inspections gave me a very competitor quote and stuck to it for final pricing. They were able to get someone out to do the inspection so quickly. Frank and James were very thorough and helpful during the process they encouraged me to look at what they found, the good and bad, so I knew exactly what I am buying.  I couldn't have asked for a better inspection experience!

Atlanta Property Inspections came to do a pre-purchasing inspection on a home my husband and  I plan to buy! We had a very short due diligence period, but that was no issue for these guys. They fit us in their schedule on very short notice and were such a pleasure to work with. Cary and Riley came to do the inspection and did a fantastic job walking us through the inspection to let us know what they found, and suggestions on how to fix all of the issues! Shout out to Cary, for answering all of our questions and having such a great personality! We truly appreciate you guys taking the time to help us through such a very stressful time. We HIGHLY recommend this company!

Jeremy was the best to work with! He was on time,  very thorough in his explanations of his findings, and took time with my clients to make sure he answered all of their questions. He was detailed, and provided follow up when we needed additional questions answered. He went above and beyond! Best, quality, customer service I’ve seen in a long time! I’ll recommend him and Atlanta Property Inspections every time!

Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. was referred to us by our realtor for our home inspection. Our inspector was Cary Cooper. He really took the time to answer all of our questions about his findings. We didn't feel rushed or that any question was too silly. He gave us peace of mind with a few of our concerns and was honest, even if we weren't to thrilled with the news. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely use (and refer)  Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. in the future for any inspection needs.

Why You Should Schedule a Home Inspection Before Year-End

For homeowners, calling professional home inspectors for a through inspection as the year draws to a close is a wise decision. This time is the ideal one to go over all the aspects of your home and see if there are things that need to be fixed before they become expensive repairs. If you make this into a habit, this can be beneficial for you in the future, whether you choose to sell your house or keep living. Set up your home inspection now to begin the next year with security and a clear mind rather than waiting until the new year.

Energy Efficiency

The aim of the home inspection is to find areas of your house that require upgrades, including energy efficiency. If your windows or attic aren’t properly insulated or if you have a very old HVAC system, your heating expenses can dramatically rise in winter. If these issues are detected before winter, you can address them and reduce energy costs and increase your comfort in the winter.

Avoid The Damage Winter Brings

Throughout the winter, both snow and rain are frequent, and as a result of this, when the water settles in different parts of your home, you may see mold growth or experience water damage. On the other hand, the inspectors can inspect the areas that are prone to freezing as well as leaks, so you can repair these places and take necessary measures before winter and prevent unwanted surprises in the winter.

Ensure and Easier Selling Process

If you are thinking of selling your house next spring, starting with the inspection process and fixing areas that show the need for repairs in the inspection report would put you in an advantageous state compared to other sellers. You will have more time to work on your home’s repairs and replacements, and if you live in a cold area, you can take care of the installation of a new HVAC system as well as an upgrade in insulation, which would be ideal for the future buyers.

New Year and New Renovations

With a home inspection report before the end of the year, you will have a clear idea of the parts of your home that need upgrades. As we mentioned, you can use this time for repairs. But you can also use it to your advantage and can plan home remodeling projects while you’re already working on repairs. For example, if there is a need for plumbing repair, you may think about starting the bathroom renovation you’ve been wanting for so long.

Atlanta’s Reliable Home Inspectors

Before the year ends, calling a professional home inspection company to schedule a home inspection is a move that helps homeowners as well as future buyers. If you want to schedule your inspection but don’t know where to call, your next address is Atlanta Property Inspections. We offer reliable inspection services in Atlanta and want to help you in making your home a safer and more colorful place. Call us today and start the next year with a relaxed mind.
