WOW! I can't even make this story up. In this very crazy market (June 2021) it seemingly takes 2 week closing (sometimes with *0* days due diligence!) to purchase a home. Anyway, Frank came recommended by another very reputable inspector, and I was fortunate he came!! The home we were looking at for my mother was a 1975 build and within 1 hour of the inspector being there a FIRE from an electrical panel broke out! Frank contained the fire, and was SO calm, had his team address the matter, was in touch with the agent and homeowner. He said in over 20+ years of him inspecting homes nothing like this had ever happened. Anyway the inspection was VERY thorough and Frank handled all matters very professionally. We will be working with Frank and his team on any home inspections in the future. I highly recommend!

Reasons Why Your Home Isn’t Selling

Selling their house is most likely the biggest transaction a homeowner will make in their lifetime. Many factors play to make the selling procedure easier and faster for everyone. So, throughout this article, we will go over the reasons why your home may not be selling, like not pricing it right, the effect of a professional real estate agent, bad staging of the house, factors that don’t make it convenient to buyers, and how Atlanta Property Inspection can help.

Not Pricing It Right

One of the biggest problems of homeowners is not being able to price their property right. This is a common mistake many make because homeowners would like to get the top dollar for what is very valuable to them. However, this can lead to people seeing your property and being interested in it; however, because they find the price high, they never contact you. Instead, we recommend you work with a real estate agent and have them give you a report on the average price of the houses around your neighborhood.

The Effect of a Professional Real Estate Agent

A professional real estate agent will do a competitive market analysis to estimate how much you should sell your property for. In addition, a real estate agent will list your house on multiple websites and local sites to find a serious buyer. They will work with customer negotiations and give you a higher advantage in selling your property.

Bad Staging Of The House

Staging a house is one of the most important things in selling. You must look for ways to make potential buyers happy when they enter the house. This means that you should make your house smell good, look good, and feel good. Avoid getting your pets out everywhere, as this will make a potential buyer not want the property. Clean the yard frequently and ask your agent more about how you can stage your house better.

Not Making It Convenient For Buyers

In all scenarios making it convenient for buyers has always proved to work. There are so many steps that you can take. One of them is home inspection in Milton, GA. You can work with a home inspector to identify the parts of your house that are damaged or ruptured and repair these parts for the potential buyer. Not only will this show the buyer that the house is currently in perfect condition, but it will also make them want to buy it.
