Frank Cooper and his team from Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc were excellent! They arrived on time  and thoroughly inspected all areas of the property I was considering renting. They found things that needed to be repaired by the landlord before we signed the lease. Frank reviewed his findings with us. He explained all of his concerns, and he patiently answered all of our questions. Then the next day I received a very detailed report that included several pictures and detailed explanations. If you want a kind, knowledgeable, and thorough inspector, don’t hesitate to call Frank Cooper with Atlanta Property. I would highly recommend him! Truly a 5 star company!

My client used the company for their home inspection during their due diligence period. Jeremy and his partner were very kind and accommodating with answering questions. The report was very thorough and I like that they also note positive things about the homes in their report as well and not just what's wrong with the house. You can read the good and the bad.

The inspector was really thorough and was patient in explaining to me what he was observing. He showed me where the shutoff valve was for the water and gave recommendations on various things. The report that was provided made sense and pictures were taken of some things that were found. The inspector was also very personable which put me at ease about asking questions. Thank you, Alex and Atlanta Property Inspections!

WOW! I can't even make this story up. In this very crazy market (June 2021) it seemingly takes 2 week closing (sometimes with *0* days due diligence!) to purchase a home. Anyway, Frank came recommended by another very reputable inspector, and I was fortunate he came!! The home we were looking at for my mother was a 1975 build and within 1 hour of the inspector being there a FIRE from an electrical panel broke out! Frank contained the fire, and was SO calm, had his team address the matter, was in touch with the agent and homeowner. He said in over 20+ years of him inspecting homes nothing like this had ever happened. Anyway the inspection was VERY thorough and Frank handled all matters very professionally. We will be working with Frank and his team on any home inspections in the future. I highly recommend!

Atlanta property inspections gave me a very competitor quote and stuck to it for final pricing. They were able to get someone out to do the inspection so quickly. Frank and James were very thorough and helpful during the process they encouraged me to look at what they found, the good and bad, so I knew exactly what I am buying.  I couldn't have asked for a better inspection experience!

Dustin was very knowledgeable and friendly and made my client feel confident in his explanations.  He was quick to point out the positives of the home he was inspecting.  His report was delivered within 18 hours of the inspection and had plenty of photos and very easy explanations in laymen's terms. I highly recommend Atlanta Property Inspections.

Jeremy was the best to work with! He was on time,  very thorough in his explanations of his findings, and took time with my clients to make sure he answered all of their questions. He was detailed, and provided follow up when we needed additional questions answered. He went above and beyond! Best, quality, customer service I’ve seen in a long time! I’ll recommend him and Atlanta Property Inspections every time!

Have used Atlanta Property Inspections several times for my buyers.  Their team is always very thorough and educational for the new home owners.  Much information is shared about past/current codes, potential issues and how to have the issues repaired.  I will continue to use Atlanta Property Inspectors for future inspections, and my clients have been very happy with their services as well!

I would like to recommend Brandon for his excellent job during the inspection. He is very professional, thorough and is an expert in his field. I enjoyed his partnership during inspection, the knowledge he shared of the risks of certain issues was incredible. I am very glad that he inspected the house for us and wishing him more success in future.

What Causes Air in Water Pipes?

As a homeowner, you have many responsibilities to ensure everything in your house is in place and working well. Unfortunately, homeowners encounter so many problems every year, including air in water pipes. Not only does this result in air bubbles and low water pressure, but you will see the pipes getting damaged. So, to prevent this, we have to learn more about it. Throughout this article, we will go through the causes of air in your water pipes, how to remove it, why you should remove it, and how Atlanta Property Inspection can help. So, let’s start learning.

Causes of Air In Water Pipes

There can be three main causes of air in your water pipes. Let’s go over them in this section.

  1. For air to be in water pipes, it has to enter through a hole. If your pipes are old, they can have broken parts on them. Over time, the pipes wear down and result in holes.
  2. Another common reason for air to be in your water pipes is to have leaks in the pipework. If there are any leaks in the pipework, air can travel through it. This can cause pressure problems in your plumbing system and cause water flow issues.
  3. The last problem is temporary. If you recently had maintenance or a new pipeline installed, it is normal to have air trapped in the pipes. This problem is temporary and should disappear over time.

How to Remove Air From Your Water Pipes?

If you know you have air in your water pipes, you can try fixing it. Let’s see how:

  1. Turn off the main water supply. It should be located near your water heating system or basement.
  2. Turn on your faucets, flush your toilets, and run appliances that use water. This will help you push all the water in your plumbing system out and any air in the pipes.
  3. Wait until the water stops running and turn the water back on. Run it for 10 minutes. You should not see any air in the water. If you do, there is a problem with the pipes. Call a home inspection service to learn more.

Why Should You Remove Air From Water Pipes

Although air inside a water pipe is not known to cause damage to the pipes, it can be annoying over time. For example, you will constantly hear noise, come across weak flow of water and water pressure, inconsistent faucets, and many more. So, removing air will save you time and from the constant noise.
